Cosmetology Instructor Program Description

The school offers a 600 hour Teach Training Course of study
to be completed in 5 months (maximum 10)

Each of the units listed below will be covered
in theory and practical instruction:

Required preparatory training 50 hours
Class attendance 200 hours
Conducting theory class 50 hours
Conducting practical classes 300 hours
Methods of keeping Student Records 10 hours
Training in subjects needed 90 hours
TOTAL 600 hours

Course Evaluation / Instructor

  • A workbook review will be conducted each week on the subject assigned and teacher-trainee will be graded on the workbook.
  • Practical (classroom, clinic, office, etc )
  • Exam scores

    Each segment represents 1/3 of the total grade. Instructor trainee must have a grade point average of 75% or higher to be recommended for state board examination. Instructor trainees are to be present and assist with classroom preparations and participate in class (s) with instructor (s).

    A licensed instructor will supervise all classes conducted by a teacher trainee!
